Problematic Game Network Code FromSoftware became the talk of the town – enthusiasts complained about the abundance of vulnerabilities in netcode, and one of the hackers even began to mock players in Elden Ringto get developers’ attention. Recently, they patched up the most dangerous gaps, and in today’s patch, another exploit was eliminated – it allowed breaking someone else’s game through multiplayer.

The list of major changes in update 1.03.2 looks like this:

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented users from progressing through Nefeli’s questline.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a playable character to die when attempting to descend from a point near the Beastshrine.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the item “Ashes of War: Endurance” from working.
  • Fixed a bug in multiplayer that allowed players to teleport others to incorrect coordinates on the map. As Dark Side Of Gaming suggests, this error caused the game to crash and ruin the save.

FromSoftware assured that in the future Elden Ring will continue to receive patches with improvements. No wonder – it’s a sin to abandon support for a mega-hit that sold over 12 million copies in less than three weeks!
