Japan celebrates a holiday season known as Golden Week. On this occasion, the studio Tango Gameworks released an update for the paranormal action GhostWire: Tokyo. The update contains improvements, fixes and a bit of fresh content.

Children’s Day Supplements

In the run-up to Japan’s Children’s Day (celebrated on May 5th), two new emotes and a new headgear inspired by Golden Week have been introduced.

Changes and improvements

  • Added Yokai volume setting.

  • On the PC, a mouse smoothing setting has been added (two positions – on or off).

  • Fast travel is now available earlier in the game.

  • Added support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) on PlayStation 5.


All platforms

  • Improved overall performance.

  • Reworked starting values ​​for player camera settings.

  • Adjusted the dead zone of the gamepad sticks, and added the function of its adjustment.

  • Fixed collision issues in some locations.

  • The rosary will no longer lead you to spirits you have already consumed.

  • Fixed text for some items in German and French.

  • Fixed sharpness setting when using FSR 1.0.


  • Fixed poor performance in quality mode.

  • Adjustments have been made to main and side quests, as well as to world events where completing certain actions could interfere with progress.

  • Adjusted deadzone detection on PS4 and PS5 controllers.

  • Fixed a bug that occurred when moving while crouching.

  • Fixed a bug that occurred when a Forsaken was discovered.

  • Adjusted the visual aspects of some full suits.

  • Fixed issue with progress when talking to dogs.

  • Fixed a visual bug when talking to dogs.

  • Adjusted some text tooltips for relics.

  • Fixed switching between tabs in the menu.

  • Fixed a bug due to which the database in the menu was not updated.

  • Fixed age limit settings for Sweden.


  • Improved mouse and keyboard input when using magic.

  • Added setting “Screensaver display mode”.
    • If you experience audio out of sync in cutscenes, set the Intro Display Mode setting to Performance.

  • Fixed an issue with progress in some cut scenes.

  • Added a warning when using too much video memory.

  • Fixed an issue with windowed mode on the home screen.

  • Fixed an issue with 5K resolution on the home screen.

  • Fixed a bug when choosing difficulty.
