The organizers of the Annie Awards, honoring animated works, have announced the winners of 2021.

Why are we interested in this award? There are two reasons:

  • Animated series Arcaine based on the League of Legends won in all (nine!) categories where he was nominated. Also, the TV show earned the most awards, beating the cartoon “Mitchells vs. Machines”, — he took eight virtual figurines.

  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart won the award for best character animation in a video game (leaving behind It Takes Two, Kena: Bridge of Spirits And Madrid Black).
