The user enters the world of teenagers, where their own special relationships are established. The camp of friends captivates users with an unusual setting, colorful anime-style graphics and a well-developed plot. It is worth noting that due to the presence of some scenes, the game received an age limit.
Description and gameplay
The protagonist, Keitaro, arrives at a teen scout camp. He will have to communicate with other guys, make friends and listen to interesting stories about their lives. The gameplay is entirely dialogue-driven: the player must choose the appropriate answers to move the story forward. It depends on the user’s choice in which direction the action will unfold and which characters the hero will choose as friends.
The novel has elements of drama and romance: the characters can fall in love and build relationships, and the game is filled with diverse scenes and beautiful landscapes. The player has access to many well-developed locations, as well as the ability to create their own maps. The gameplay has a built-in gallery where photos of game moments are saved. Keitaro also makes entries in his diary, which are based on a mini-game that allows you to restore the details of the plot.
Camp Buddy has simple, intuitive controls. During the dialogue, the player can skip the line, save progress, or go to the settings. In the menu, the user has access to sound, text and screen options, saving and loading, as well as a detailed dossier on all characters. In the profiles of the heroes, the name, age, birthday are written and a brief description of preferences is given.
Camp Buddy Characters
The advantage of the novel is a detailed system of characters. Among them there are friends, lovers and enemies. Keitaro has several romantic interests: the cheerful Hiro, his best friend since childhood; the smart but quiet bookworm Hunter; the avid scout Natsumi and the active, cheerful Yoichi. As you progress through the player will direct the main character to one of the characters, which will affect the development of the whole story.
Other scouts important for the plot also live in the camp. The head of the camp is Goro (Goro), who ignores the tricks of teenagers because of his self-interest. An important role is played by camp assistant Aiden, who supports Hiro in his desire to cook.
There are also villains in the novel: for example, Taiga, who hates Keitaro because others like him. Various costumes are presented for each character, as well as the personal history and past of the characters is described in detail.

The game was originally developed for computers. Fortunately, recently the developers managed to port the application to phones. The original Camp Buddy novel is in English, but there is a full Russian version provided by an outside translation team.
